This intriguing mixed media sculpture features a skeleton playing a cello relentlessly, as though driven by an unstoppable force. A haunting yet beautiful piece that blends the themes of perseverance and the inevitable toll of time.

This darkly humorous mixed-media sculpture features a skeletal musician passionately playing a stand-up bass. The figure appears completely consumed by his craft, while the bass itself shows signs of relentless use—the strings have begun to unravel and curl away from the instrument as though worn out from countless hours of practice. Scattered around his feet are sheets of music, including a cover page titled Played to Death, hinting at the story behind the scene. Behind the musician stands an actual full size record displaying a handwritten poem that tells of his obsessive pursuit of the perfect song. Convinced he only needed to practice a little longer and make a few more improvements, he continued playing without rest until his dedication ultimately became his downfall. Blending music, storytelling, and dark humor, the piece serves as a playful cautionary tale about perfectionism taken to the extreme.
