Poems are read from left to right as follows:

Charles Bram Thor
Died by the Sword,
Plunged into His Heart
By His Wife’s New Amore.

Mary Wanted Him Dead
So She and James Could Wed,
And Use Charles' Money
To Keep Them Well-fed.
James Samuel Hill
Died By a Pill
That his dear lover, Mary,
Laced with Cyanide to Kill.

Once Bored of His Touch,
In His Stew It Was Crushed,
Besides Sharing The Money,
Was, For Her, Just Too Much.
Mary Ann Thor
Was Found Dead on the Floor.
The Cause Was Unknown
Until The Police Learnt More.

Seems Sir Charles Was Aware
Of Mary’s Cheating Affair,
And Had Slipped Some Arsenic
In the Perfume She’d Wear.
