The Doll Head Robotic Spider sculpture channels a haunting, sci-fi energy—inspired by the Borg from Star Trek, it fuses the organic and mechanical into a single unsettling form. At its core is a vintage doll head, pale and expressionless, serving as the central body—its once-innocent features now made eerie by the invasive presence of machine parts.
Emerging from the head are eight angular legs, crafted from found metal scraps, wires, and electronic components. Each leg is jointed like a spider’s, but with the sharp, utilitarian look of cybernetic limbs—cobbled together from broken tech and industrial debris, as if assimilated from a junkyard.
